Is the free tier actually useful?▼

Yes. Scout gives you unlimited locations with real-time USGS river gauges (flow, gage height, water temp), NWS weather, and NWRFC river data — plus trip reports with fish counts, field conditions, Conditions Scores, and daily rankings. Tides, buoy data, and flow trends & charts are Angler features. It's a complete tool for anglers with a handful of go-to spots — we don't paywall your logging or your scores.

How much does FishON! Pro cost?▼

Scout is free forever. Angler is $12.99/year or a one-time $34.99 lifetime unlock. Guide is $24.99/year or a one-time $74.99 lifetime unlock. Subscriptions renew annually and can be canceled anytime; lifetime is a single non-recurring purchase.

Can I try Angler features before subscribing?▼

Scout is our free trial — it's a genuinely useful tool, not a crippled demo, so you get a real feel for the data quality and interface before you ever pay. There's no separate timed trial; when you're ready, Angler and Guide are available as an annual subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock.

What happens to my data if I cancel?▼

All your data stays on your device. Your trips, notes, and photos are yours — they're stored locally and never leave your phone. If you cancel a subscription, you keep read access to your historical data. While you're subscribed to Angler or Guide, you can also export everything as a JSON backup you control.

Who needs the Guide tier?▼

Guide is designed for professional fishing guides and serious anglers who fish dozens of spots across multiple river systems. If you need unlimited sections and unlimited offline maps, Guide is your tier.
